I ordered the XDA-1 to use as a pre-amp tempoarily(since my INTEGRA dhc 80.1 is on the fritz and will be out for a long while) I will eventually use the XDA-1 in a dedicated listening room ,but for now will give me some sound with the T.V. I'm curious as to how to use the aes/ebu plug and also the USB input. Can anyone give me an example of use : hook-up applications? Even better would be a schematic of a tipical hook-up scenario. Thanks to all who can give me some insight on the subject. B.T.W I'm pretty upset that there is no EmoWear for the XDA-1 seeing as how I've already invested on 4RU trim kits for 3x XPA-1's + 2x XPA-2's all looking really great . This I'd already read about in the EMO LOUNGE, but what shocked me yesterday is that I fell apon a thread mentioning a colour missmatch in the annodizing process of the faceplate on the XDA-1.(greyish colour) I sure hope this has been resolved.

You would have to have components with those types of connections to use those particular inputs. If you are just going to connect it to TV, then optical or coax will be your best bet depending on the connections from your service provider box.
