Hi all. Just wanted to say hi. I just bought a umc-1 as my first "seperate"- I have always had recievers before. In the past couple months I have been consumed with the desire to get away from my "lofi" and get into some nicer gear. So, here I am, was considering the Rotel RSP-1068, and the umc-1. I hope I made the right choice!

Welcome. I bought my first Emotiva pieces a couple years ago while I lived in Statesboro, GA. A word of caution: once you see how good the equipment is (especially for the price) you may find the urge to systematically replace all your other components with Emotiva stuff.
