Question all... I'm about to order Xpa 5 tommorrow.. but was.wondering about Going way in with Xpa1s for LCR. Is this overkill or should I stick with original plan of Xpa5? I was looking to do the Xpa1s in a totally stereo setup in another room. Just having last minute decisions...can't sleep. Adivce is always welcome.!

Sorry if your signature shows this, I can't see it on the iPhone app. Dave.

So that would always be better if you can afford it ...

I have infinity classia system.. and going with paradigm s8 v3 for stereo. Maybe ill swing for the rest of the signatures. Money isnt the deciding factor... Its just that if I'm going all in... Im doing it once. This way ill do it correctly and havr no regrets.

I've had about all the Emo amps out there. They're all great, but the XPA-1's are clearly head and shoulder above the rest of them.

I agree 100% Well I haven't own all of them, but have sure had a few of them, xpa's the 2's, the 3's, and the 1's.. I love the lush smooth sound of the 1's over all...Once I have some extra coin in my pockets I get them again. Djoel

I have 3 xpa 1s for LCR feeding Paradigm Studio 100s and a cc350
I had a Yamaha DSP A1 before and its no contest. Its night and day difference truely.
Going to mono blocks would be a decision you wont regret except maybe cabling issues.

I use 3 xpa-1 ones for my front three speakers, of course they are Magneplanar speakers that are power hungry. If you can swing it financially then go for it, you won't regret it. The great thing about xpa-1 amps is that you get clarity even at low volumes, which is what I listen at during the day when I work from my home office. Good luck with your decision.
