It went UPS ground that was $48 and then $10 for insurance. I agree that is expensive I think it only cost $16 to ship it from emotiva when I brought it a year ago. I went to Postnet which is two blocks from where I live. I actually had a neighbor take me there cause I don't own a car. postnet added a charge for the convenience. Those strip center postal service outlets all add a huge charge to the normal rates. I have my own online accounts with UPS & FEDex. Much cheaper and the accounts are free. I used to use them alot with ebay but over the past year I haven't used them more than 10-15 times. But it's so easy to do everything at your house and then just drop off your package at their stores... ;D all true, and sage advice... |

I just had a PR-SC5508 and a UPA -2 shipped to me threw the postal service , I would of never used the postal service myself , but after seeing the cost and how nice the boxes showed up 2x times now I might consider it next time , I also just bought a ERC-2 and shipping on that threw Fed Ex was only 23.00 . I also use the UPS store down the road , but only for a drop off you should print your label online and just drop it off there is no charge for a drop off and you would save money , I guess they need to charge for there time if there doing the label or packing for you . |
