I would like to wish everyone a wonderful Veteran's Day tomorrow!
My heartfelt thanks and appreciation goes out to all Veterans and their families.
A quiet moment to reflect and remember those that gave all.

In Canada, the federal government is under investigation for the access of information by several organisations regarding the Veteran's privacy act!
Some high ranking Veteran officials aren't too happy by all of this!
My deepest regards go to all of them, living and not.

Thanks to all the vets out there! The army was the best thing that happened to me, nothing like a little discipline to get you going in the right direction, you vets know what I'm talking about, lol. I turned 20 years old in basic training, Ft Knox KY, school of hard knocks. Oh, and today is my wedding anniversary 24 years of married bliss  |

Army 1969-71. Viet Nam July 69. Carried an M60 gun the entire time. The gun was always a primary target but no one told me that when I was told to carry it!!!!!! ;D

thanks everyone,,
a Navy vet on this end, 1958 - 1961,, was a boiler man on a destroyer DD710 USS Gearing,,
saw 26 countries and loved the sea life,, never cared for the plane guard duty with aircraft carries as we had to be running 28+ knots + duty in the fire room was four hours on and four off for several straight days,,
