House Give all your friends and family the URL for Reference Recordings so they can all send you some HDCD encoded media as Christmas gifts. Until you have listened to HDCD albums from Reference Recordings you haven't lived. I am totally addicted to their media. Emotiva is responsible for that after I listened to some Samplers from RR on the ERC-1 CD Player. The ERC-1 and USP-1 combo literally made me rediscover my music collection; and, the addition of the RR HDCD albums took my listening experience to a whole new plateau of sonic bliss. www.referencerecordings.com/ |

yep....i noticed that shortly after i had orderd mine. I pretty much had a feeling there were going to be a bunch of people ordering the ERC due to its major performance to cost value at under $400....
you will be happy :-)

Proud owner of the emotiva erc 2 myself when it first was shipped. I have the best of everything, a modified NAD C-542 by R.A.M ultra detailed, my awesome grant fidelity cd 427 all tube hdcd player using a blue laser sounds like analog, an oppo bdp 93 and 95 and my beloved emotiva erc 2. Can't go wrong with any of these players. I'm just using my oppo bdp 83 for strictly video. What's a funny I still have an old kenwood sovereign 5700 5 disc dvd player once top of the line. The picture of that player was awesome for it's time due to the faroudja processing. Emotiva and oppo mix well in HT setups! The ERC 2 mixes well with carver/sunfire as well!
