I just purchase the UPA-2 and USP-1 about a week ago. I had five of my friends over yesterday and they were in shock with the sound and the appearance of the equipment. All of them have tube systems costing well over two thousand for the amp and preamp. I have own the Bose 4401 preamp and 1801 power amp for over 30 years now and must state that UPA-1 and USP-1 sound just as good. I am very happy that I purchase this equipment and I am sure others are too.
