Hello. Recently I got UMC-200 and XPR5. The rest of all components including speakers go by sea and have to come to me in 2 weeks. I decided meanwhile them to connect and to test. After connection of the Trigger (to the amplifier except a power cable, nothing else connected) sometimes when turned on, starts blinking red LED above the Standby button and LED Bargraph Meter (each time differently, but generally it is 4,5 and 3rd channel). Only after switching off the AC Power and switching-on it is possible to use the amplifier again. I noticed that if it in the switched-on and working condition that errors don't appear, i.e. errors sometimes appear when you switch on amplifier (via Trigger). Probably these errors sometimes appear because speakers and also an audio signal aren't connected to the switched-on amplifier? Please advise. Thank you. You are most likely getting this because there is no speakers connected to the amp. It is sensing that there is an issue and causing the amp to shut down. If you have some other speakers laying around, connect them and see if you still have the same issue.

Here is what I ran into with my XPA-1 Gen1:
Problem: XPA-1 wouldn't power on properly and pass audio only @ 240V Fix: Replace bad fuse, fuse F2
Details: At 120V it would would power on normally and pass audio. There is an obvious CLICK while the red LEDs are still displayed. At 240V, it would power on, the red LEDs would turn on but there is a click missing. It would go to blue LEDs faster than @ 120v. It would not pass audio. Once in a while there would be no blue LEDs after red, nothing illuminated.
Fix: There is a panel on the bottom, 8 screws to remove it (2 on each corner), and there are fuses F1, F2 and F3. I would probably recommend contacting support, if you've not opened it up before. They have some instructions (and warnings) and good pictures. The usual "high voltage, let the caps discharge, be careful, etc, etc" warning apply.
F1, I believe is a 200ma 250V slow blow 20mm fuse. I believe it powers the front display F2 and F3 are 10A 250V slow blow 20mm fuses.
In my case, F1 and F3 were fine -- but F2 was blown. Replaced F2 and everything (so far) is working perfectly normal again.
My only theory is a spike of some kind was the culprit, which I have no idea when (could even be from before I moved a couple years ago) - because you'd ONLY see the blown fuse when powered @ 240V.
When I first contacted support and explained the issue, I was told that it shouldn't be a fuse. I checked it anyway and replacing it fixed the problem. Support may be able to send you a replacement fuse. I've also found that if you dig, Amazon and Ebay have them. Radio Shack doesn't seem to - and it's a 20mm fuse so hardware stores likely won't either.
