I will see what I can do, but it's our office and my wife works in there all week. Not sure if I could get away with rearranging the room. I would if it was my own.. Thanks for that info. It will come in handy Ah yes,...the well known "WAF"! (Wife acceptance factor). I'm lucky that (the long suffering...) Mrs. Mad Norseman has let me have my way (mostly!) with turning our living room into our home theater - as long as it still works well for everything else we use it for everyday, like just watching TV at night, etc. Nice looking system, and interesting that you're already perceptive enough to recognize significant sound differences depending upon where you're at in the room - not all can recognize this, so congratulate yourself! But try and get your speakers farther apart though ,(he says repeating what about 6 others have already said, and that the OP is already fully aware of! ).

now, im 37. i'll have 3 more years to get a high end stereo system like yours. i love those polk LSi's. they're at ebay for really cheap. im drooling.......3 more years of droooooolll.......

Google the Sumiko Masters set-up. This lets you make the sweet spot the place you actually sit to listen. I was trained at their facility in Berkeley and have been using it for years.
