Whew, three weeks of patiently waiting and it arrived!
Shipping: FedEx freight...the gentleman that delivered it wasn't the most... helpful.
They cant bring it in the house? Ok, fine, i'm sure somebody sued from mud getting on a carpet... but to tell me "I am even going above and beyond bringing it to the front door. If you didnt have a sidewalk with a ramp, I could leave it next to the curb."
After wrestling this think up the front steps, we got it in the house.
Packaging: It seemed to be packaged very well. Not the most professionally presentable (no logos, documentation, thank you card... nothing in the box but the sub woofer and the grill). There wasnt any box damage, and with the Styrofoam spaced apart as it is, I'm glad nothing pierced the box like they did shipping my other speakers.
Fit and Finish:
No pictures of the setup yet, still have to do some moving and tweaking (and this bad boy is heavy!)
The grill was packaged very well and is heavy duty for sure. The subwoofer and drivers look fantastic. I rather enjoy the truck-bed liner type finish.
I ordered mine with a B-Stock LT1300... this wasnt in the best shape. I think they might have done a few drop tests on it before installing it (nicked, gouged, etc..)
Only real con? Besides no documentation... why could they not even include a power cord?
For a product listed at nearly $2K... yeesh, not the way to cut corners.
Listening:
Holy Crapola. The videos don't lie. The excursion and speed on these woofers is shocking. Bravo.
I did pop out the fuse to make sure I had more on hand in case I blew one. 12ah250v.
I shopped around the area and could not find a replacement fuse higher than 6amp... not sure where to get one of these.
That's all for now, ill post setup pics soon!
