;D I bought a pair of the Pro 6s for my office. I am a CPA, or bean counter if you like, that spends about 60 hours a week in the office. I hooked up the 6s to an Integra receiver and DVD player with a Cambridge Audio DacMagic doing the signal processing. The EMOs sounded so good that I felt compelled to take them home and see what they could do. I bought a Cambridge Audio 550A and 550C and hooked up the DacMagic and a Definitive Technology Supercube sub. Well one of the 6s had a defective RCA input and only one speaker would play. So I called EMO and returned the speaker for repair. And I waited anxiously. I had the speaker back in five days. These guys are awesome to deal with! Anyway I finally had the chance to hear the little EMOs in action and let me say that there is no way that a speaker system with the asking price of $ 800 should be able to sound this good. I have owned some pretty good speakers from Acoustat, Quad, Martin Logan, Magnepan, and Infinity when they were a high end manufacturer. I felt like a had just pulled off the crime of the century stealing these jewels for a song and a dance. These babies are unbelievable! Thanks EMO.
^ Thanks for sharing your experience. I couldn't agree more. I absolutely love my 6s for music and have been using them for a while without a sub. Didn't miss much but when I added a 10" sub the sound absolutely rocks.
Sold everything! Starting from scratch. Focusing on 2-channel (for now).
I can only imagine that some sweet sounds, make long hours in the office a LOT easier to manage. Some folks seem to have a knack for finding a way to squeeze in more listening time, and surely you are one!
