Very nice!
Have you had a chance to give a good listen?

Just enough to ensure that there was no problems. Now my PROBLEM is that the wife has made it a rule that only 1 two channel can live here.
Either this setup or my VRD monos / Juicy Music Peach preamp / Juicy Music Tercel II phono stage has to go...

That's a really really nice setup. I bet it's not going to be easy choosing between them. For looks, I give the edge to the Mc.
I've always liked those stands. Did you get them before their prices doubled overnight?

Did you get them before their prices doubled overnight? Thanks and yes this will not be easy. When did the price go up? I bought the stands about 1 - 1 1/2 years ago and had local granite done. One pair of Heresy speakers are going (I have 3 pair); I use modified Belles with my 2 channel. My 7 and 10 year old kids use the other two Heresy pairs with Sansui and Marantz. They get to choose which pair they want. Attachments:

Both systems need to stay IMO...let the negociations begin.
BTW: Nice gear, your first system was very well thought out, it must be really nice to hear some smooth jazz coming out of that one.

I agree with Roadster, that Mac gear is sweet, you will truly be able to compare Tubes Vs Solid State and hopefully you can tell the wife your are evaluating both and delay the process for about a year, the Klipsch are just beautiful.

Keep the McIntosh hi-fi, lose the tube sound effect devices.

Beautiful equipment. This could be a difficult decision. ;D

Very nice! Years ago, my sister's husband had a killer setup with McIntosh and Cornwalls. And my father-in-law had Martin-Logan and Krell.
Couldn't have found two more different systems, both great in their own way.

Buy your wife some jewelry or mink coat or something and you'll be able to KEEP both! You can also kick the cat out in replacement of the other system. There's always a compromise and a way of getting around women!
