Hey guys, this is my first post after a lengthy period of lurking and reading reviews.
Been a musician (bar/wedding gigs) for years, and finally decided this year to take the time and $$ to build a decent "mid-fi" digital system. Emotiva gear makes up most of my rig, as you can see below. Based on the limited testing I've done of other, far more expensive gear, I'm really happy with the sound and value these products give, and they've made my foray into hifi possible without emptying my bank account or ruining my marriage. After doing my listening on HTIBs and low-end componentry for so long, I'm astounded by the way my admittedly modest system opens up new sounds in tunes that I've listened to for years.
I've already benefited much from the advice and info posted here. Excited to pick up more tips and participate in the discussion and general craziness that this board promises to offer. Cheers.
