I've bought and paid for one of the XPA-2's but haven't had a chance to cross the border to pick it up from my US shipping service, that'll change next Wednesday. I can't wait to get it home and run it pre-out from my SR8001 to drive a pair of Monitor 11s7 in stereo. They say Emo is the best kept secret in home audio but judging by the number of people talking I'd guess otherwise. In my experience the customer service is second to none, they always kept me informed and were extremely pleasant to deal with. I'm hooked already and I haven't even seen their product! Looking forward to the expertise of the members.

Thanks guys. On behalf of all members seeking knowledge, Thank you for volunteering your time. I'm in the same boat as darksky, "I'm not good for much..." I laughed my ass off, you gotta respect an honest man! If it's any consolation I've never used the terms timbre or off axis response in a conversation!

Welcome fellow Canadian, which Province are you from? BTW, I also buy most of my gear from the U.S. and pick up at a logistic center in Champlain NY.
