Hello, everyone! I've been lurking on this forum for about a year, I've even purchased a few Emo items since then, but I've never really posted a message of any significance. I think that may still be the case!!! Nonetheless, I felt compelled to just say hello and pat my fellow loung members on the back. I check in here several times a day and really enjoy the discourse on the variety of topics we see posted on the forum. There are a lot of bright, informative and witty people here. I've learned lots, and look forward to learning a lot more about this wonderful, crazy hobby. Thanks, S.T.

Hey S.T., Welcome to the lounge. Over the years, I've spent many months in Vancouver and loved it. First in North Van and later in Richmond. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Hi and welcome! I don't know many Canadians but I stumbled upon this from a Japanese textbook, is it accurate? You should know, mr. Sequim ;-)

Hi and welcome! I don't know many Canadians but I stumbled upon this from a Japanese textbook, is it accurate? You should know, mr. Sequim ;-) I wonder how many people can pronounce Sequim correctly. I know I can. But I was born and raised in 'Worshington' - as Chuckie would say - so I have an advantage. Puyallup (where the big state fair is) would be another tough one. Snohomish is easy - so is Snoqualmie and Yakima - and Walla Walla is a piece of cake for most anyone.

Welcome, from a different North Shore.
I'm getting a kick out of the WA discussions, but they reminded me of two things:
1) The NY State Fair; I have to make sure I get back again this summer (NY is actually a pretty big dairy state), 2) People from NY City can't pronounce the names of towns out here (Cutchogue, Patchogue, Hauppauge, Aquebogue, Copiague, and these two that are next to each other Quogue and Quiogue).
