Power over USB may not be good as well.

Power over USB may not be good as well. According to W4S you dont need powerd USB when using the power adapter , so I just took a USB cable and removed the +5v & GND pins on both ends . When the Dac shows up I will know for sure |

I've heard a few people say that the USB power source is actually just fine, as long as you design proper power filtering into it.
