The XSP-1 looks like a component that you just have to buy because... It's frigging beautiful. Now you can piss on the Joneses ;D I know for sure I don't need one but what does that have to do with anything? ;D I know I need and want one. ;D

I know I want one, I don't really (in capitals) NEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDD one, but I can convince myself I do.
But - I would prefer to avoid the fancy script font in addition to the regular font. It reminds me of the old equipment from Japan, circa 80's, that had a permanent print on the front of all its features. "Super hi-fi deluxe awesome sound with incredible awesomeness beyond expectation"
(All in a font I could not read back then...let's avoid discussions of font sizes I can't read now...)

XSP-1 Love! Does anyone have a rag available for me to use to clean the drool from my keyboard? ;D ;D ;D For some reason, this is the one piece of gear I have been lusting after for a long time now. I am excited to see that it has reached its final stages of development, and is being "unleashed" to the masses. I will be looking forward to the early reviews, and of course, getting my hands on one! ;D Thanks for the pics.

Nice to see a bit rate on the XDA-2 .... Wonder if that mod will be available for the Umc-1 next firmware update... It's been a long time since a umc update too now that I think about it.

I have a bit of a dumb question here. When speaker manufacturers are there presenting their latest offerings, what brands/what gear do they put in front of them? Alternatively, if there are companies who manufacture only gear, but no speakers, what do they use as speakers? I always wonder this. I would have to assume that it would be a mixture of components from the same parent company.

So where is the headphone jack on the XDA-2? Also, did you notice...it displayed sampling rates!
