Just have it shipped to Pt. Roberts, drive down and pick it up, won`t cost you squat to get it back.

Just a quick note to all of our brother Canadians: Canada does not have a free trade agreement with China, which is the country of origin of all Emotiva products.
Kindest regards, HTinP

You'll just pay HST when you bring Emo products into Canada. Nothing else (or nothing else in my experience).

Speaking to a border guard acquaintance, for a day trip wave thru, the limit is around 200 bucks give or take 20%, also depending on how busy it is.
I paid HST on my first Emotiva purchase when it was shipped to Blaine, but if I had shipped it to Vancouver import duty would be tacked on top of that, plus the cost of shipping to Canada. Figure I saved over $600.
From the online reviews, I chose Hagens of Blaine as the most flexible and cost effective.
