I think they will faithfully post a review once they are out of the hospital from having to lift the amp into their racks. Hahahaha. OUCH.

Apparently the XPR-5 buyers like it so much they've become hermits and would rather play movies and music all day and have no interest in the interwebs anymore! I think they will faithfully post a review once they are out of the hospital from having to lift the amp into their racks. When is yours due in Rickie? Or are you just gonna carry it home from Emofest? ;D

Or are you just gonna carry it home from Emofest? ;D I don't need no stinking XPR-5!!! ;D A pair of XPR-1's will do nicely instead. ;D Actually I would dread having to deal with transporting one of these. Something like this I would need to have delivered to my office since it requires a signature - which then presents the problem of loading it into the car and driving home my new lowrider and hauling it into the house, putting it in the rack that is too small so I have to take out the other amps and stuff in it and make adjustments, put them all back in plus the XPR-5 and then transport myself to the emergency room. ;D Oh and then post a review to get everyone off my back!!!

I sure hope the reference line sells. I'd hate for emotiva to have to pull it.

Something like this I would need to have delivered to my office since it requires a signature... You could request a "Hold at FedEx Location" on the shipment, which will allow you to pick it up at your leisure. I've done that several times for Direct Signature parcels. More info here: www.fedex.com/us/services/hold_at_location_benefits.htmlOh, and the XPR-5 box has handles.

Come on Rickie, the delivery & setup is the best part! ;D Besides if I can do it (twice actually) with a 125 pound amp, im sure you can too.

This would mean that I'd have to sell off my XPA-2, that I very much like, replace it with an NAD C272 for two of the surround channels, and move my XPA-5 to the bedroom. If only the XPR-2 came out first, I'd have one waiting to be plugged in to one of the dedicated lines tomorrow.

lol
for aussie use my guess unless you can obtain 20amp recepticals you may need to work in 25amp gear as I would say 20 amp will likely hard to come by and I would think 16amp circuits might not hold enough current..
not mention dedicated 25 amp circuit..
