Hello everyone! since March I am a happy owner of the Emotiva ERC-1 CD player (bought it from a friend) and two XPA-2 amps used in a vertical biamping mode. What can I say, I`m thrilled by the sound, but the bug has bitten me, I`m thinking what the new XPR-1 or XPR-2, along with XSP-1 would do to the sound of my system? I guess I`ll have to wait, but in the meantime I enjoy music like I never did before! Currently I`m using Vincent SAT-1 tube preamp, but will probably try the XSP-1 when available. Best regards, Stan

Yes, very nice looking speakers! What do they sound like/how do they sound? Welcome to the Lounge!
Also, know any nice women in your area that would be interested in an American guy; penpals first? ;D

Stan, what a beautiful set up. I would love to see a few pictures of the house and the porch. It is cool to get a peek into the lives of someone on the opposite side of the planet. Bradley.

Yes, stunning indeed. I love how the speakers dwarf the TV... says volumes (...pun intended!) about your priorities (music vs. video). P.S: Stiehl, be careful what you wish for! ;D

Hello everyone and thanks for the warm welcome! @ stiehl11, the sound of the speakers, eh, what can I say? Try to imagine the transparency of the planars and dynamics of the horns. I have a friend that has Magnepan 20.1 and another one has some diy horns and I feel like I have both of them in one speaker ;D Just come over here, we will have some beer and talk business (women), I am sure we can arrange something for you. Dou you prefer 90-60-90 measurements or any other "ratio" ? Darksky, I will try to upload the pictures of the house later...

^For the uninitiated, lest you think he's talking of rotund women (not that there's anything wrong with that!), the measurements mentioned above are in centimeters! stanz, we use Imperial units in the US, not metric.

@ stiehl11,... Just come over here, we will have some beer and talk business (women), I am sure we can arrange something for you. Dou you prefer 90-60-90 measurements or any other "ratio" ? I'm not particular about physical appearance; all I ask is that they were born as and are currently a woman, have concave (rather than convex) curves, and limit their (emotional) baggage to just 2 carry-ons. ;D Intelligence is the biggest turn on for me (I like 'em nerdy). And, believe it or not, a good personality is a must. Would love to try some European beer!

Did you ever go with the XPR-1 or XPR-2? The openness of your setup looks great!

Welcome Stan. Why not register and stick around the Lounge as a member. Sometimes when I write a reply and don't post it quick enough ProBoards cuts it off when you try to post it. If I take a long time to post I copy it and then paste just in case I loose it. Your system is gorgeous, very nice, stunning speakers! The glass windows and outside area is beautiful. Thanks much for posting the photos. Chuckie
