Hello all, After the discussion on this thread, I'm looking for an affordable power strip / line conditionner adapted to our good old 230V / Euro plugs, that would perform like the CMX-2 or CMX-6 for a roughly equivalent price. Do you guys know of any such ? Thanks !

According to Emotiva, the UK/European version is still in the pipeline but no firm dates given, will possibly coincide with opening of European distribution centre

From the photos online, it looks like the CMX-2 comes with a *detachable* power cord, so you should be able to just replace that cord with your country's equivalent type for the NEMA outlet intended (like you would if buying an Emo XPA amplifier). Email Emotiva and ask them what the exact plug-in type needed is, and go from there. Because a specialized European version may still be a long ways off.

That was my first instinct as well but since voltage is different, I'm not sure the filter would work as per design. (it's worth asking, though).

Voltage and Frequency both potentially different in Europe, changing cord will not suffice - the reply I got from Emotiva customer support confirms this but feel free to contact them again just in case they have an update.

So I did exactly that, and yup, same answer as yours: "no it won't do, and we don't know the european market well enough to suggest another brand".

Have been waiting for this product! It should be made given the US is in the minority at 110vac and emo is pushing international.
