Just found an amazing deal for 35 feet of belden 83803 for 100.00 shipped! I have been trying to find some/make some wire with similar properties to no avail. But through my endless electronic surplus searches I nailed this deal. I had always wanted this wire but the price was just ridiculous but for about 3.33 a foot I just had to grab it. I recently picked up ten sets of IEC plugs so my project should be complete very soon. Will post pics when the time comes!!! Attachments:

I was afraid of that. I saw him selling per 10ft yesterday but I guess he's out of stock now. I shouldn't have waited.

It may not be the place to post this, but if somebody wants them, I have a new unused box of 12 Audioquest ITC-24/RCA plug. It mention it because you were talking about cable and making your own interconnects.
I may a bunch of different types of cables and still use some silver ones I made and longer Belden interconnects. I was going to use these to make some cables and never got around to it. Mow I do not have time. The ITC-24/RCA's are about 3 bucks each online.
If somebody wants the box of 12 for $15 you are welcome to them. I cannot imagine shipping would be very much. I guess PM me and i will figure out how to respond.
I my post is in the wrong place and I offended anyone - sorry. Just trying to give fellow experimenters some stuff to play with. FYI Joeyd, I work in Franklin.

Trinidad in no way did you offend anyone, at least me as I don't speak for everyones sensibility. This board is all about sharing and enjoying different ideas about audio and what it all means to them. It's why I share on this community and only read others like Asylum. It's amazing how upset people can get simply because your belief system and values about audio are different from theirs. For the most part people here people understand that do please keep sharing! HAPPY DIY-ing!

Nice score OP. TiredDad, don't worry. You haven't offended anyone here. If you do a lot of reading here, you will see that many threads become "conversational" in tone as new ideas and thoughts get brought up. I really like that aspect of the forum.
