We hope you agree that the lounge is an excellent place to interact and socialize with like-minded people. This is an audio forum owned by an electronics company and let us remember that we all are their guests here. What brings us here is our passion for our hobby – namely audio equipment. While there is a wide range of opinions on audio gear, we get along with each other in a civil and courteous manner.
However, there’s nothing quite like political and religious topics to get people fired up about expressing their thoughts and preferences. Sometimes a meaningful debate ensues for a short period, but mostly such threads quickly disintegrate into opinionated statements by partisans and personal rants leading to name calling, insults and flaming. This sort of behavior is against forum rules, ruins the lounge experience for everyone else and frankly, is just not desirable. Please refrain from these topics.
Going forward, threads and posts containing political and religious topics are best dealt with elsewhere on the internet. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
