I appreciate your input on a decision I need to make. I am putting a 2.0 stereo system, with 2 Polk Rtia7's, and no sub. I will be using an XDA-1 + USP-1 (pre), with Squeezebox as transport. Would It make a difference, soundwise, to go with an XPA-2 amp versus 2 monoblock XPA-100 . Room is 20 # 25, 10 ft ceiling. I listen at low to moderate volume levels, mainly classics and instruments. Thanks y'all.

Thanks y'all. With a room having 5000 cu ft and a preference for classics and instrumentals I would say that you would be happier using the XPA-2 power amp to drive your Polk speakers. Your musical tasttes lean toward albums with lots of transients and dynamics -- the strengths of the XPA-2. Enjoy your music!

I have the same dilemma too. Anybody has tried both amp setups, please let us know. Thanks.
