Just bought a 4 pack of subdudes at guitar center. You have to call in the order. But you can get 4 for 150$ shipped if you use the scare12 coupon code.

I've been feeling as if I was getting some floor resonance and was about to post about using spray foam insulation underneath to deaden it (raised floor, TJ, OSB, carpet & hardwood). This would be something much less expensive to try. What type of problem are you trying to solve?

I have decay spikes in the 800 ms range. sent from my phone. sorry for the short response. Tony

So I was reading the specs on these and it says they're 2.5" tall? I assume when you put them under your sub you remove the spikes? My subs are under my TV stand, and I have limited height so I'm still trying to figure if I can get them to fit, it'll be tight.

Tony, why are you always sorry for your short response? My guess is that he has that as a signature, of sorts, do when he sens anything from his phone it automatically posts that at the end. Just a guess though...

Rofl. The conversations after midnight are crazy. But I have the subdudes. Just need to take some measurements of the subs without them then I can install.

Tony, why are you always sorry for your short response? Well now yesterday he replied in the thread about my question on which way to point the Xref-10 I just ordered. His response was short but he didn't apologize for it so I guess I must be special. ;D Sorry for my ;D response.

So did you ever get them installed? Did they help? Do you remove the feet/spikes from your sub first, I'm interested in trying them but have limited clearance above. Without feet the total height would be Sub + 2.5" ?

Mine are mounted on their sides and this did help tighten up the bass some. I am getting ready for the second phase of room treatments. I will try to get measurements soon.

Without feet the total height would be Sub + 2.5" ? I would leave the spikes on. What's your thinking on that? Reducing movement, or additional decoupling? Will the spikes 'sink in' to the foam or will they still sit up a bit? I may just not have the height - I just measured 2" clearance above the sub, and just under 1" 'spike height' - without the spikes I'd have less than 1/2" to spare.
