Finally I hooked up my USP-1 to the XPA-2 and to the two JBL L890s. I have a velodyne IMPACT 10 subwoofer and its connected to the L/P sub ( set at 80hz ) on the USP-1 and when I use the high pass connection ( set at 80hz ) to the XPA , I barely hear anything on the subwoofer, just a dim noise.
So I changed the output to the( full range output) on the USP-1, I get back the sound.
One of the main reasons why I bought the USP-1 is for BASS management so that I can revert all the bass to the subwoofer.
How can I use the high pass output on the USP-1
Can you advice on the best setting / connection .
My sub- VELODYNE -IMPACT 10 -32-140 Hz (+/-3 dB)
Tower speakers - JBL L890 (28Hz-40kHz (+/- 3dB)

The obvious answer is that your loudspeakers have better low frequency performance than your subwoofer.
