New to the forum, have read a number of posts and threads and have enjoyed the knowledge and great support. Considering the purchase of the XPA-2, but have a few questions:
Realize the first question is dependent on many factors, room, cables, power cords etc.
1. Of the pair each of speakers I have RTiA7's (Polks) and Monitor 70 Series 2 (Polks) which would be the better pair juiced by the XPA-2? (RB-1572 powering RTiA7's currently)
2. There is a PS Audio DL3 in the chain with balanced outs if I bypass the preamp and connect to balanced ins on XPA-2 I believe I will not be able to control volume of digital sources...? Cambridge Audio 650A and Rotel only have unbalanced inputs. Is this logic correct? Is there a different configuration for balanced to include the PS Audio? I know there is the unbalanced option by splitting the signal if using unbalanced. Any ideas or thoughts.
