I have the dvd version it is awesome. Hmmm dvd -160 used amazon or blu-ray 111 on amazon lol. Who in the right mind would buy dvd over the blu-ray?

Depends on the transfer. Not all of those old films would benefit from what BD has to offer.

Those old films have been carefully restored (well all but two) and have gotten great reviews. The reviewer for the Home theater Forum reviewed them on Joe Kane's personal projection system and gave all but 2 of the titles 5 out of 5 for picture and sound.
