Finally getting some of my gear back together, 2 channel for now, quickly connected some components together to be able to spin a few tunes, first was Radiohead's Rainbow's as they are pretty much my favourite band to listen to and help mellow me out. Just thought I'd post a few pics as I myself always enjoy being able to gaze upon fellow audio enthusiasts systems and their passion for it. Anyways a few shots, I do have some repair work to the drywall where the last fellow made a mess of installing a cable and phone outlet, I'm trying a much cleaner look for routing the cables as all my gear is on the opposite side of the wall, I still need to install a hood plate behind the TV so I can hide the cables. Thx for looking and don't forget to post some pics of your own sweet systems.

Drop ceiling tiles, I have them out as I will soon be fishing some speaker cable for my rears.

Nice, clean looking setup there. It's funny, but you actually have what was my "dream system" when I first joined the forum. A UMC-1, with the USP-1, a pair of UPA-1s, and the UPA-5. Man, did I drool over that front end!!! ;D Good job, and please post pics of how it all looks once you are fully set up.

Thx, I still have a lot of aesthetic wiring to do when everything is completed it will look much cleaner around the rack, and wow very nice setup, my house is only 816 sqft on each level so I have to work with what I got but that's the fun in it...heh

Neither of you guys are using center channel speakers?! Anyway, nice set-ups - both of you!
creimes, I like the fact that your room has so many 'ins & outs' on the walls, etc., not just a straight rectangular box.
Keep posting guys!

I have 5 speakers in my ceiling, my center channel is right above the TV.

Setup seems to be coming along nicely; I bet it's going to be awesome when you'll have everything hooked up. I was just talking to a friend of mine about building a rack just like yours.

I have a center channel but it and the rears aren't setup yet, I'm either gonna need a shelf for it or it does come with a bracket to mount to wall, the door beside the TV is a washroom and the next door to it is to a storage room and then theres another door to a bedroom, the subwoofer sounds best when doors are closed.

The control arms looked familiar. In the last 5 years i've worked on numerous Tv wall mount designs. Sanus Av Systems has my shop prototype new mounts before being sent to china for production.

I was just talking to a friend of mine about building a rack just like yours. jjmatrix...stand was pretty simple to build, I just left it raw with no paint or finishing on shelving as I knew it would be hidden when getting our new place. I used 3/8 of an inch threaded rod with nuts and washers to hold the 2pcs of pine shelving 18'' x 36'' that I cut in half to get my 4 shelves, and also purchased some steel tubing which I cut to size to fit in between the shelving which also made it easy to get the correct shelf spacing. If ya decide to build, let us know how it went......
