Why do I need casters? It already has wheels hidden behind the "posts".
Build quality is great. It's solid and looks incredible. No defects as far as I can tell. I need to adjust the left drawer because it sticks a bit, but nothing major. The doors and drawers close solidly, the thermostatically controlled fans are a nice touch (still haven't turned on), and the cable management with the built in holes makes things nice and hidden and well organized if you have the patience.
It's heavy, but not too heavy. After adding my amps and stuff, it was a bit of a pain to roll it into position on the carpet. For scale, my TV is a Panasonic 42" plasma.
If you're looking for a good wood console, and have the $, I'd say go for it. The other path I debated before settling on this was the VTI glass consoles, but I wanted to be able to hide things better and make it more aesthetic as furniture.

I really like your system! Its simple, good selection of components. If it were me the only 2 changes i'd make is swapping the sony changer with a oppo bdp-95/105 and the speakers with a set of Revel M20s.

I have a BDP-105 now hooked up via XLR to the XSP-1 now and the Sony is now in the closet for the time being. Really cleaned up the front with the roomie's PS3 gone and the Oppo doing all source duties. The Logitech now is hooked up via coaxial to the Oppo as well. Saving my pennies for these speakers now: www.legacyaudio.com/products/view/focus-se/Auditioned them early summer and was very impressed.
