For those of us up in Alaska, appreciating quality sounds has some extra challenges. There are practically zero places to audition gear, and shipping is pretty much guaranteed to be over $100 for anything except cables. So we have to depend a lot on user reviews when deciding what gear to purchase, because returning is not really an option(basically lose half your money just in shipping, so not worth it. So I thought this might be a good place to round up fellow Alaskans, post your gear, and if your considering a purchase maybe a fellow Alaskan within 100 miles(kind of the average distance between towns) can give you a demo if he already has one. Most of my setup borders on antique, but I would love to demo a XSP before committing to the purchase. So... Whose out there?
