Hey all, for the power cord for the XSP1, is it an interchangeable style or do I need to get a adapter plug? Any recommendations or suggestions appreciated? Cheers Mark

most kettle type cords will be fine...any IEC cord should be fine too as the current pulled for an XSP is minimal. Unless of course you subscribe to the cable makes a huge difference then the sky is the limit to what you might want to get...but those with aus/nz plugs will perhaps be limited in the exotic ranges.

Cool thanks. And no I don't subscribe to the "Exotic Range" of power cords that are available. Well can I say at least, I have read nothing that convinces me that spending possibly the same on the power cord as the cost of the entire XSP-1 unit is a worth while endeavour!
(Can of worms anyone :-)
Cheers Mark

ah you can go the route of buying US style face plates if you want to the stock cable supplied, moving on from there i would try to avoid convert plugs where possible for the simple some convert plugs don't sit in point or power boards correctly and create arcing due to insecure fit..
IEC refers to the interface on the rear of the unit, if you want to buy a pc power cable that should get you going..
a point to note: given how homes are wired in australia, if you plan rumning power amps you might need a sparky to come in a do a couple dedicated circuits for your power amps..

Steal one from the kettle or from your computer monitor/desktop - you won't need those you'll be too busy listening to music Yeah pretty much anywhere sells them. I have thousands laying around.
