Hey jag5blues, Welcome to the lounge! Which country are you from? If your Onkyo receiver has the latest codecs, network connectivity and you're happy with its room correction system, you might as well keep it. OTOH, the UMC-200 offers 3D, an excellent GUI over live video as well as HDMI 1.4 with ARC. If you have an SACD player (or intend to get one) then get the UMC-200 for 7.1 channel set of pure analog direct inputs. If Bluetooth connectivity is important to you, then again it's a vote for the UMC-200. Otherwise, wait and see what the UMC-500 brings to the table.

Hello from Norway. Recived my first Emotiva product yesterday. (XPA2 g2) And i am soooo pleased that i bought this amp. It is top end in every way, so now i am thinking on changing the rest of my gear to Emotiva. I have the Onkyo txsr875, and it is a very good AV reciver, but after having heard the power, and crisp clean sound of the XPA2, i now want the XMC1 and XPA5 for starters. Now i know what quality Emotiva has to offer, and there is nothing that can beat that, at this low cost. And the fast shipping to Norway, with the secure wrapping, only adds up to the rest. Thanks, hemster, and Thanks Emotiva.
