Anybody tried using these with your amps?
I picked 3 up the other day, one for each of my xpa-1 and 1 for the audiolab cdq. The results are outstanding. Iv had the xpa-1 for a while now and while i knew they are amazing amps i always felt like i was missing that last ounce of clarity and mid bass from my b&w cm9. I pluged all 3 cables in and could immediately tell a difference. I had much more clarity and bass has improved by quite a bit. Its as if the standard chords where strangling the xpa-1's and holding them back. Iv been listening to norah jones tonight and their is absolutely no noise at all, just a jet black dead back ground so her voice just appears dead Center from no where with a clarity and realness that i just cant believe. I played "if i were a painter" about ten times over and I'm amazed, it actually sounds magical.
If you have the dosh try these out, I'm well impressed. I can truly say I'm happy now and will never need to upgrade. Iv never heard a better sounding stereo, period.
Anyone with similar experiences with this cable?

The DAC looks very nice. As for power cords which I'm assuming the aurora is, I'm a little skeptical. The power gets to those power cords through a much larger distance of cheap as all get out wire in your house and the power company. So I don't understand how the last foot or two will improve the power. Also the amp itself has cheap standard wire in it, so it's hard for me to think that it improves the sound. I'm glad that you like it though. I heard some people use large battery packs to provide the power to help ensure a steady current.

A DC source is the only way to ensure the power is fed as smoothly as possible, glad you like the AC cables, but aesthetics is all they are good for.

I use all Wireworld cabling in my rig. Try the Electra on your source, it's a good step up from the Aurora.

Aparently it removes noise from that point onwards so while their is standard cabling in the amp it doesnt have the noise as the wireworld aurora had filtered it out and boy can you tell the difference. It took me a few days to get used to as the highs sparkle, voices and midrange are crystal line and just seem to appear from the dark and bass is more taut. It really has taken the stereo to a new level, i cant imagine how i could improve now. Also its on my dac as well so the amp will be recieving a more clean sinal to amplify. This reduction in noise also made my f113 seem more detailed and powerful at the bottom end, as i said i had to turn it down 4 notches on the Velodyne sms1.

Placebo effect. www.audioholics.com/news/editorials/placebo-effectIt's actually based on real science. I work in a power plant, I know how the power is generated and how it gets to your house, the last 6 feet between the wall and your equipment doesn't change anything. Get a cable that looks nice, is built well and is of adequate gauge, and your brain will think it sounds fantastic. Although I will credit wireworld for making nice looking cables and not trying to make it sound like they invented space-time travel because of it.

I was using the wireworld stratus on the 8200cdq, thats now on the f113 with similarly amazing results. I think if a system lacks the potential in the first place these little tweaks will never shine through, the xpa-1 and fathom seem to have been taken to another level.
On a low end system i think it would probably be a waste of money.
Over the years i have read audiophile reviews and have been left in wonder as to what all that vocabulary actually meant in real terms but now i have the kit i can see what all the fuss is about.

I know what your saying but it does make a difference. When i plugged it all in and played it for the first time i could immediately tell a difference, it sounded a lot more crisp. Definitely not in my head. Read all the great reviews on this cable. It works, simples ;D

I'm glad you got an improvement. I still remain skeptical but I haven't tried any high end wires, so I don't have first hand experience. Enjoy the music

What difference did you hear? I started out with the Stratus, which was a significant improvement from the Pangea AC-14SE/14/9. The Aurora is another step up, but the jump from Aurora to Electra is staggering. I used it on the Oppo BDP-95 when I had it. Everything just sounds clearer with better separation of detail and a bigger and deeper soundstage. Just try the Electra on your source and leave the Auroras with everything else. FWIW I put the Stratus on my subwoofer and couldn't hear any difference with stock cord so I just put the stock cord back. I met David Salz the CEO of Wireworld at T.H.E. Show this summer. He was hanging out in the KEF room which uses all Wireworld PC's. He told me to put the best PC on the source and lesser ones elsewhere. That's where you can hear the biggest improvement. From my own experience I'd have to agree. Their USB cable (Starlight and up) is also amazing.
