New to Emotiva and to the Forum!

Howdy - after discovering emotiva from reading audioholics.com I am now the proud owner of an XDA-1, some emotiva RCA cables and a pair of optical cables.

I'm using my XDA-1 as a DAC for my Headamp Gilmore Lite. My sources are Foobar+ASIO4ALL and my aging OPPO 970HD.

Anyways, I'm really pleased with the XDA-1 and I have big plans to expand - I am pretty sure I need some airmotivs and maybe upgrade the 970HD to the ERC-2 (or a used ERC-1)!

Hi there! Fellow headphone lover over here. I have a question: do you encounter any obvious distortion/compression even at medium or low volumes when the xda-1 is running at volume 80 and the volume controlled by the headphone amp.
