Any new information. I am really wanting to try these, but I am not nearly as patient as I should be?

I haven't heard any new information since the October podcast. At the time, there was a slight chance this amp could be available for Christmas, otherwise it would be early 2013. Quite frankly, I think Emotiva has their hands full with the UMC-200, XPR-1 and XPR-2 this month (among other things). I will be very surprised if it ships before the new year. This amp has generated a lot of interest here in the Lounge. Perhaps we'll hear an update in this month's podcast.

You might want to talk to Emotiva. They would probably have a better idea than here in the forum... :-)

I think I read a post that someone else made in another XPA-1L thread and Emotiva said that it won't ship in 2013Q1. So it might still be a little bit of a wait.

L for Lonnie! Well, I think it's fitting. Other more likely reasons include L(ow profile) or L(ite). After all, this amplifier will be only 2RU tall, with half the power of its big brother. It will, however, have a really nice party trick with some other great features.

L for Lonnie! +1 Every amp designer deserves to have at least ONE that carries his name! ;D ;D

Or "lifeless"? I kid, I kid! It should be a sweet amp with a nice form factor when it's out.
