Just upgraded from the XPA-1 monoblocks to the new XPR-1s (Wow; 1000 Watts of clean power); love it! Sound stage opened; bass solifified and tightened and high end definition improved. Who would have thought that 500W was sub-optimal? I can post a full lay review if anyone's interested.

Thanks Bruce After hearing them at the Audio show in Tarpon Springs Florida I said I need those, the bass does extend very low on them I could not be happier. As all I do is 2 channel throughout the house and yard although the Yard has JBL control 30's and 29's hooked to a JBL sb210 subwoofer with a passive crossover so I guess I don't know what to call 5 speakers hooked to 2 two channel amps, fills the back yard though. The SCST are hooked to a usp-1 and and XPA-2 right now and sound pretty awesome

A Moon (Simaudio) Mind 180 streamer, a 110 ohm AES/EBU cable, some software by dbpoweramp called Asset UPnP, some software from Simaudio and an iPad to control it all.

I bought myself a Senn 363D gaming headset. I had to order it from the U.K. because they haven't been released in Canada yet but it's supposed to arrive on the 2nd of January. I also got my oppo 103 on the Friday before Xmas. I did want to go with the 105 but in the end, I had other things I'd rather spend the money on that a few features I'll probably never use anyways lol

Let me know what you think of yours when u get a good use of them

Nice gifts guys.
Spent my cash on family. The only audio related item I got for Christmas was the new Sounds From The Ground "WiderWorld" cd. But that's ok. I love watching the kids unwrap their presents.

P.S. Please back the Olive One if you have. Need to get to $200k in the next 36 days.

Let me know what you think of yours when u get a good use of them I had a set of the 350's also and I agree they were pretty crappy, well not crappy, just very lacking in the bass department. The 360's on the other hand were very good IMO. I've got about 10 different sets of gaming phones laying around and the 360's IMO would be close to the best, if not the best. I'm currently using my Tiamat 7.1's, pc 360's and astro A40's with the pro mixamp. The 363D's use the same drivers as the HD 598's with the added usb soundcard and boom mic. That being said, they are pretty much the exact same as the 360's and if thats the case, I'll be quite happy with them I'd imagine.

Awesome, yeah I was just unsure as those 350's were not that great, and for the price they ask seemed strange to me that Sennheiser headphones for that price point lacked so much as I love my cheaper HD457's so much.

I love watching the kids unwrap their presents. That the right thing to do, my kids are 28 and 31 so at my age its time for the wife and I to enjoy life. So we tend to spoil ourselves starting about 3 years ago, I guess if the ever decide to have children then my wife will be back to spoiling grand children. One can only hope they don't.

Well one of these definitely meets the "audio equipment" definition, and the other is a "source component". I bought myself the Fender '58 American Vintage Telecaster for Christmas, my wife had the "Greta" retro tabletop amp waiting under the tree. It makes a perfect practice amp for the living room as it's small and stylish. I won't be playing Woodstock with it however, it tops out at 2 watts of highly distorted tube power into a mighty 4" speaker! Attachments:
