2100 came in Saturday it is a keeper.I went with this unit because I wanted the inputs and the tone controls that the unit has.It is very detailed the first thing I notice was the mid bass was a lot better and the detailed separation was miles ahead of the Onkyo. Attachments:

I got a pair of linkwitz Orions in brazilian cheerywood, complete with ati 6012 amp, 4 years old but as good as the day they were built at the wa factory...i would have built my own but these cost me less than the drivers alone...mine are v3.3.1 spec... The latest versions is selling at $14,750 without amplifiers.

Yes, yes that is! That parasound pre-amp could be in a case 1/2 that size easily. It's like my parents in their 3000 sf house and they use 3 rooms LOL O and BTW creimes, the Senn 363D's are fantastic!!! I've left them on over night and they are the best set of gaming phones I've had. Really great SQ. I'm highly impressed!!

Awesome, it's nice to get your money's worth then, I'm enjoying my Shure 440's, they were $99 at Long & McQuade.

Nothing audio related for me but I introduced my 16 y/o son to some nice sound. Gave him a pair of Polk Black Stone TL2's and to power those an older Onkyo AVR. These small monitors need some help in the bass department so I also gave him my MFW-15 subwoofer. This setup sounds just amazing playing hi-res audio from his PC and unbelievable really for the money spent compared to the first system I put together at his age.

I got the Shure 840 headphones last month as an early Christmas present. Then I got the Fiio E6 headphone amp as a stocking stuffer. The Shures have been an absolute joy to listen to, and the Fiio amp has turned out to be one hell of a bang for the buck.

Well one of these definitely meets the "audio equipment" definition, and the other is a "source component". I bought myself the Fender '58 American Vintage Telecaster for Christmas, my wife had the "Greta" retro tabletop amp waiting under the tree. It makes a perfect practice amp for the living room as it's small and stylish. I won't be playing Woodstock with it however, it tops out at 2 watts of highly distorted tube power into a mighty 4" speaker! WOW very nice ;D

New plunge into the world of separates with an XPA-5. It only took an Emotiva sale and my Yammy AVR Amp to croak.
I have to say my Ascend 340 se's sound much better!

Thanks for the welcome!
I can see why there are so many Emotiva fans out there. Its hard to hold back on other upgrades once you open this pandoras box.

I can see why there are so many Emotiva fans out there. Its hard to hold back on other upgrades once you open this pandoras box. And then, one day, it happens... ..you wake up and find yourself strapped to a bed. You're in a white room with padded walls. Laying near you in the next bed over is a guy called Bob (or at least that's what is written on the tag). He's muttering something...barely coherent. And then it comes to you: he's reciting Ohms Law over and over again. As panic rises in your throat, your body is bathed in blinding white florescence from the overhead lamps. A strange voice booms over the loudspeakers: WELCOME ADDICT #39,823. YOU ARE HOME NOW. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. Now you see your family once a month on visiting days. It's hard to grasp sometimes, but you realize you never should have listened to the Emotiva Lounge Lizards, for very soon, most of them will join you. You MUST go back and tell them. They MUST be warned about this place!
