Well I finally bit the gullet and bought a New TT, Pro-Ject Debut Carbon.
It came with a 2M Red Cartridge and stylus, but as a Boxing Week Promotion the store was offering an upgrade to the 2M Blue Cartridge for $89 extra which is normally a $199 separate buy..
So not bad at all I think, I choose Piano Gloss Black, looks very nice.
They even installed the 2M Blue as well.
Will post a review once I get some decent records to evaluate, and break it in..

Welcome to the world of vinyl!
Pro-Ject makes fine turntables. I'm sure you will get lots of enjoyment from it after you get your record collection together.

Turntables are fun.
After spending a half hour installing a new Audio-Technica AT-120E cartridge on a headshell without glasses just to say I did it gave me a great sense of accomplishment. To hear the sound from it was so satisfying. ;D

don't forget to invest in a good cleaning system !!! He says as I was just doing it by hand yesterday trying very very hard to not get smudges and finger prints all over it as it was flexing like a professional body builder holding a stick of semi soft butter, lol |
