It's a totally implausible movie. I agree with Ed's review - excellent video/effects and audio and as hole-ridden as the plot was, I found myself feeling good at the end, cheering for the veterans and also that the good guys win. It is far from the worst movie I watched in 2012, though. That honor goes to the remake of War of the Worlds. That is probably the most stupid movie (unintentionally stupid, that is) I've ever seen in my life. Battleship is a masterpiece compared to that one.  I totally agree with everything you said. WOTW= one of worst movies ever and I did like battleship much more. Video and sound was great. where in WOTW had terrible video |

Maybe so, but if you got some capable subs it would probably be the one movie you demo the most.

Saw it twice last week in Chicago........once in the hotel room and once in my buddie's theater. Besides being totally an OK movie....MUCH better in the theater with a sub and LFE track. One question....how do aliens NOT have superior weapons or micro what ever the ion shield was?
