Has anyone tried a Touchsquid tablet universal remote? It is a 7" android tablet with an IR blaster. touchsquid.org/This is exactly the type of device I'm looking for. If necessary, is there any chance that Emotiva would be willing to provide the IR codes for the XDA-2 so that I could get this device working with my stereo?

I poked around a bit more and found Emotiva on the Touchsquid site's list of supported brands, so I'm hoping that includes the XDA-2 and placed an order for one.

My wife got me one. It works but the tablet is a bit dated (slow and bulky.) I think a Samsung tablet with built in IR blaster and $50 touch squid app in google play store would be much slicker.

I too found the squidtouch slow and bulky. My solution was a nexus 7 + Global cache gc12-100 (cheap on ebay) + irule app. No real problems w/ new setup, except I have to look at the screen to press buttons.
