Hi everyone.
I just purchased the Onkyo 818 as the first product for my next HT/Stereo setup.
I have a fairly simple turntable (Sanyo TB B2) I wonder if I will benefit from a preamp. The onkyo has a built in Phono input.
Also, I would appreciate if someone with this AV receiver can comment if an amplifier is recommended. Does it make any audible difference? My speakers are currently quite simple satelites+sub, but I intend to upgrade to the Goldenear Triton Two or Three soon.
Last question: Suppose I do get the USP-1, how I do hook it up to my system? Phono-->USP-1-->Onkyo? Does that degrade the audio signal in any way?
