I implemented a streaming solution (mentioned in detail elsewhere) which can be controlled by an iPhone or iPad. The GUI is very reminiscent of the Sonos GUI.

In any event, since it changed things a bit for me and I am back to more than one remote (URC MX-880 + the iPad now) I began to look for an iPad based remote control solution.

So far, I've found one which I am going to investigate a bit further - the "Roomie Remote".

Anyone here using that system?

My 2nd XMC-1 is SOLD. Still have one

XMC-2 is struggling along

I have a pile of stuff that pushes out squiggly waveforms from smaller squiggly waveforms that sometimes come from 1's and 0's.

It's wonderful to behold as long as you don't let the magic smoke out.

For the most part it just all works...when it doesn't then it's time to rub a few brain cells together and soon enough it's all good to go again.
