Hi When i turn off my xpa-3 there is some hiss and hum and other noises in the left channel.If i disconnect the left channel theres no sound at all.Is this normal?

No, this doesn't sound right. I assume you've attempted to see if it has any noise while powering up or normal operation? Best thing would be to call emotiva, the'll know if you've got something there.

Hi Thanks for youre reply Yes when it powers up theres a short hiss like half a second but i guess thats normal? Under normal operation its fine. Is this the number i should call?: 1.877.366.8324 Since i live in Norway do i add +1?

To call from Norway to USA, it looks like you have to dial "00" , then " 1.877.366.8324. Or if that doesn't work, 00.1.1.877.366.8324 At least that's what I can find online, hope this helps!
Edit: It just occurred to me that a 1.877 number may not be international. If you can't get through, you may have to dial the other Emotiva number: 00.1.615.790.6754.

Kent A My XPR-5 does the same, 2ch hisses when I turn the amplifier off. Please let us know what Emotiva said when you contacted them. Did they solve it? Best regars Darude
