Hi everyone. Just looking for some insight on this new issue.
Whatever input I put the left main Chanel into it shirts out and the red light blinks for that amp. I know it's not the interconnects because I have take. Them out and reinserted them as much as possible. Also at lower volumes it works find but at around -10 it goes into protect mode.
Now a reason I might be thinking of is the right main has a blown driver in it (waiting for the replacement ) so I have been listening tweeter only. Could this be the cause of the left channel to go into protect mode? I am stumped and its aggrivating

First, switch your left and right front speakers and see if the problem remains in the left channel/speaker.
Later switch the front L & R speaker cables, then later the interconnects for the L & R 'feeds' into your XPA-5.
Doing these steps should either confirm where/what your problem is, or point to the speaker, cable, or amp as the culprit. Good luck!

+1. Connect a known good speaker and wire to that channel and see what happens.

Thank you!! Ok I switched just the speaker wire on the back of the emo. It's not the interconnects it's the line to the left speaker (this is the full good speaker. Te right one is the one with a blown woofer) so is it that the le is trying to lever compensate for the rig one?
Is it the speaker wire?

When you swapped the speaker connections, did the problem stay in the left channel or did it move?

Found it!!!! The install speaker wire that was going from the embedded wire to the speaker had the termination bananas wired too close together. I would even say just abut touching! I directly connected the speaker to the amp and all is good in emo land hahah
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Sometimes it's so simple but tough to see when your too close to the problem

Thanks everyone. I knew it wasn't the amp. And didn't really think the blown driver was the cause and it was stumping the crap outta me. Lol
I completely forgot about the "extra" set of speaker wire that could have been and was the problem
