We have sent a scan of these fingerprints to the national FBI lab in Worshington, D.C. for evaluation in connection with missing Lounge member Bob Lachat (aka LOTR). We will be contacting you later if further biometrics are needed. Inspector Charles A. Nutt

A pressure clip in place of the screw would work as well (kind of like a mini banana plug).

A pressure clip in place of the screw would work as well (kind of like a mini banana plug). First thing I thought of when I saw the pics is how some SATA cables for hard drives have those little spring clips that help lock the cable to the drive and motherboard. I've had some of the very early SATA cables come loose causing no end of problems until the loose cable was discovered.

Ahh yes - I swear a RAID card company I worked for in the past would still be in business or atleast aquired by 3WARE/others had the locking SATA cables been shipped to every one of our customers.

Yes those are great solutions. Just sliding in a standard stock HDMI especially in critical connections isn't good enough! has to make custom install that much more dependable!

great Idea wish they ship the locking mech on a standard hdmi device ins/out saves damaging the plug that way.. looking at the pics I'd say aftermarket automotive options
