A while back someone posted a link for colored faceplate screws. Tried searching but I'm not finding it. Anyone remember?
I took off the silver tabs, but thought some black chrome or gun metal gray screws would look mighty purdy!

I would just check the local hardware store next time you are out and about to see what they have on hand.

I found some at a a local hardware store as well. Not Lowe's or Home Depot, but a small mom and pop place. I haven't tried to check at the larger places but I suspect there's a good chance they will have them. A while back someone posted a link for colored faceplate screws. Try hobby stores. I have a few Traxxas monster trucks and they all use allen head screws. They do come in colors and can order them in different lengths if you need to.

Aren't they metric sizes? Might find them at a nut and bolt house, computer supply like Fry's or online. You can always spray paint them with Krylon.

You can always spray paint them with Krylon. I just put black trim pieces on my XPA-3 and was thinking the same as the OP, that the silver screws stood out a little. Am considering painting them, but might check a couple of places to see if I can buy some - otherwise if I ever decided to put the silver plates back on, then I have the opposite problem

Paint is defintiely a viable option for changing the screws' color from silver to black. And I'm thinking that balck-painted screws would look pretty awesome with the silver trim...For that matter, some Emo-Blue painted screws might look pretty cool with the black trim...

The black trim kit came with black screws. You might want to check the box.

Bumping an old thread: Does anyone know what size screws are used on the UMC-200 faceplate? I don't have mine for taking to a hardware store to match, and Emotiva support hasn't responded to a week-old inquiry. I would assume they're the same size as anything else in the lineup using the 1.5 rack space form factor, as they all take the 1.5RU trim kit which comes with replacement hardware. shop.emotiva.com/collections/accessories/products/blacktrimEdit: Emotiva kindly sent me a replacement set of trim screws, as they didn't have the measurements handy, either. Here they are for future reference: M4 x 0.7 thread size, 8mm thread length, 3mm tall head, 3mm allen wrench.
