I just discovered that stereo 3.5mm cables work for triggering amps. It specifies using mono in the Emotiva manual, but stereo works just fine. Just thought you newbies would want to know since I had no idea when I began.

I've never had any problem using stereo triggers either and have used them many times but some people have reported not being able to get stereo connectors to work apparently not compatible with their gear, so it's best to get the mono if you can.

I solder together my own trigger cables now so I use mono connectors and make them exactly the length I need and also made em look nice with a little blue Techflex.

But for anyone looking for mono trigger cables here's a link to a great source with a lot of lengths available and very low priced.
