I upgraded a bunch of items in the last month, I got a LED 65" Samsung SmartTV, OPPO BDP-103, AppleTV, also I really couldn't wait for the XMC-1 anymore and went with Onkyo's PR-SC5509 preamp-processor.

Congrats. I was wondering if you are hooking the apple tv to the oppo, or to the onkyo ?

I am running all of the video through my preamp except for the oppo's. The Onkyo has a Qdeo video processor that I think is equivalent to the oppo's. Also I got a 6500 series Samsung.

The Onkyo 5509 is a great Pre Pro and so far DOES NOT seem to have the problems as the 08 Onkyo series has had.I sold my 3008 because of all the video problems they were having and did not want to risk sending my unit in for repair.No problems with the 5509 as of 6 months and it even does a great job with my wireless.
