Nothing really was lacking, it was just taking a lot of space and the room it's sitting in is just a 14 # 12 room, powering a pair of rtia's for front and csi a4 and incelings for surrounds and front highs. I thought for a 7.2 system the 80 wpc may be more than enough. it alos has the latest decoder. i donrt care much for the internet connection i use my oppo 103 and apple tv.

Congrats! I think it will give most AVRs a run for their money when it comes to power delivery. The Sherbourn stuff is pretty sweet. I've mentioned this before, but if I ever need/want an AVR, I'm going right to Sherbourn for my solution.

It won't ship till 3/23/13. I used my 40% discount card from my last umc-1 buy from Emotiva and it ended up costing 560. Not bad. Since I am not planning on using preamps, I think it beats the UPA-700 & UMC-200 combo at 1100. Would there be a difference in sound between these separates and the SR 8100 ? I personally doubt it but will see.
